Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl

Tempe, Arizona will welcome the TCU Horned Frogs and Michigan State Spartans to the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl on Saturday, December 29, 2012! Kick-off is scheduled for 8:15 p.m. MST at Sun Devil Stadium and the game will be televised on ESPN.

The Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl, formerly known as the Insight Bowl, has become a must-see for fans and a favorite destination for teams. This year marks the 24th anniversary of the bowl game, which began in 1989, and has grown and changed over the years.

Originating in Tucson, the bowl was first named the Cooper Bowl and was played at the Arizona Stadium for the first eleven years. In 1997 the bowl acquired Tempe-based Insight Enterprises, Inc. as the new title sponsor and was renamed the Insight.com Bowl. Then in 2000, the decision was made to move the game to Phoenix’s Chase Field, home of the Arizona Diamondbacks. In 2002 the bowl was renamed to the Insight Bowl, and in 2005 the Insight Bowl was moved to Tempe to be hosted at its current location, ASU Sun Devil Stadium. In early 2012, the title sponsor became the Buffalo Wild Wings and the bowl name is now officially the Buffalo Wild Wings Bowl.
