The inaugural Women’s Half Marathon Series will be held on Sunday, Nov. 7, 2010. Starting on Scottsdale Blvd. in charming Old Town Scottsdale, the scenic, walker-friendly course winds along the Arizona Canal and adjacent to Papago Park. The race will finish in beautiful Tempe Beach Park and be followed with an unforgettable lakefront party. 

Race weekend begins with a two-day Health and Fitness Expo located at the Doubletree Paradise Valley Resort in Scottsdale. The event’s host hotel, the Tempe Mission Palms, is within walking distance to the finish. The expo, open to the public, features women-specific apparel and merchandise, book signings by running celebrities and packet and T-shirt pickup for runners.

The Women’s Half Marathon features a patent-pending two-in-one finisher’s medal and charm, a designer goodie bag, technical race shirt, makeovers and a post-race cookie café.
