Run while you rock ‘n’ roll during the P.F. Chang’s Rock ‘n’ Roll Arizona Marathon & 1/2 Marathon. Over 20,000 runners will cross the finish line in Tempe and stay for the post-concert at Tempe Beach Park. Start training now, the marathon is held annually in January.

ASU Marimba Maderas de Comitan Presents a Latin Dance Pachanga

The  Arizona State University School of Music’s Marimba Maderas de Comitan (marimba band), directed by Ted Solis, hosts a Latin dance pachanga (dance party) under the stars at the ASU School of Music Fountain Courtyard.  You’ll be on your feet singing and dancing to the lively Latin rhythms of the Dominican merengue, Peruvian and Ecuadorian cumbia, Cuban son and son montuno, Mexican zapateado and bolero, Puerto Rican guaracha, Congolese rumba, and many others. Visitors can expect to see hundreds of butterflies housed in a spacious 36-by-80-foot flight enclosed lush garden that recreates a habitat most appealing to these fragile fliers.
