Tempe is the perfect home base to enjoy spring training baseball!
From March 2 through April 4, 2012, Cactus League Spring Training brings 15 MLB teams to 10 stadiums to play more than 200 games. The Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim call Tempe home as they play teams such as the Cubs, the Brewers and the Giants. Tempe Diablo Stadium is located at Interstate 10 & Broadway. Seats for games vary in price, beginning at $10. With several games a day, it’s easy to catch your favorite team.
Spring Training Trolley to Tempe Diablo Stadium
This year, it will be even easier for fans to see their favorite team, the Angels, during Cactus League Spring Training. Tempe is introducing the free Spring Training Trolley, which will transport baseball fans to Tempe Diablo Stadium for each Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim home game. Beginning March 6 and continuing through April 1, fans will be picked up and dropped off at two locations in Tempe - the Mill Avenue District and Tempe Marketplace. This free trolley service will run from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m., stopping every 40 minutes. Specific details will be posted soon!
