Whether you have a passion for arts and culture, are an occasional theater goer, or your artistic preferences are decidedly fancy or funky, you’ll find something to suit your artistic bent in Tempe.
You’ll discover the visual arts at every turn, from contemporary art to photography to ceramics by major national and international artists at the ASU Art Museum, its Ceramics Research Center & Brickyard Gallery and other museums and galleries located on the Arizona State University Tempe Campus. The Gallery at TCA (Tempe Center for the Arts) also displays rotating art exhibitions throughout the year; the current exhibition, STEAM, melds art and technology and will be on display through September 17, 2016. While you’re out and about, watch for art in unexpected places, such as the Mill Avenue Post Office, Tempe Public Library, and along city streets. Public art is sprinkled throughout the city, Tempe Town Lake, light rail and bus stops, Arizona State University and other locations waiting to be discovered by unsuspecting passersby.
