Tempe Celebrates Cinco de Mayo
Where to commemorate the Battle of Puebla this Cinco de Mayo in Tempe.
Cinco de Mayo isn’t necessarily observed throughout the world or even that much in Mexico. In Tempe, we honor Mexican heritage and the cultural significance of the Battle of Puebla (aka El Día de la Batalla de Puebla, 1862) by gathering with good company to savor authentic cuisine and spirited sips.

Get ready for a taste sensation like no other as Adventurous Stills invites you to experience the essence of Mexico with a complimentary agave three-spirit tasting flight at 6 p.m. Participants will savor the Arizona-made Añejo Agave Spirit, which is crafted from 100% Blue Agave — that’s been imported from Jalisco, Mexico, then meticulously fermented, distilled and aged for over a year. Space for this festive tasting experience is limited, so be sure to secure your spot in advance here.

Indulge in the flavors of Mexico and celebrate the rich culture and heritage of Mexico by joining the Tacos and Tequila Bar Crawl a day ahead of Cinco de Mayo. The bar crawl kicks off at Fat Tuesday at 5 p.m. and continues until 11 p.m., stopping at select hotspots throughout Downtown Tempe for mouthwatering tacos and refreshing margaritas. Each stop promises a delicious experience that’ll will delight your tastebuds. and continues through 11 p.m. Be sure to grab your tickets in advance. Tickets include:
