There’s nothing quite like a warm delicious stack of pancakes to give your morning a glow. That’s how I’ve always felt anyway! I like them crispy on the outside and soft in the middle – pancake perfection. Here’s my short list of the best pancakes in Tempe – feel free to enjoy them all – I have.

Crackers and Company
Located in South Tempe on Elliot Rd., east of Priest Dr.
In this homestyle local favorite breakfast spot, try the Cinnamon Roll Pancakes, swirled with cinnamon filling and topped with cream cheese glaze and pecans. I also love the Granola Cakes and Berries Pancakes with blueberries, strawberries, granola, honey butter and whipped cream. Yum!

U.S. Egg
Located on Baseline Rd. and Mill Ave.
Try a stack of banana pancakes, strawberry pancakes, wild Main blueberry pancakes, whole wheat pancakes, apple cinnamon pancakes, chocolate chip pancakes or my personal favorite, the protein pancakes. The protein pancakes are filled with wild main blueberries, granola, cinnamon and slivered almonds. They are seriously good!

Daily Jam
Located in Downtown Tempe on the corner of Mill Ave. and Third St.
I love going to Daily Jam after a jog around Tempe Town Lake. I’m always hungry and Daily Jam never disappoints. Their golden pancakes, red velvet waffles and french toast are my faves. Or if I need some protein to keep me going for the day I’ll devour one of their delicious egg sandwiches!

Located in Downtown Tempe on the corner of College Ave. between 5th and 6th St.
Snooze offers what I like to call “fancy breakfast” menu items made with unique flavors and combos. Tasty pancake options include pineapple upside down pancakes, sweet potato pancakes, candy apple pancakes and blueberry Danish pancakes. The pineapple upside down cakes are my favorite here – super delicious and very sweet! Can’t decide? Order the pancake flight and pick three to try.

Great choices, for sure! They have some really good choices at Sunny’s Diner, as well. 🙂
