Did you know that there’s so much more to the desert than saguaros and sun? When planning your next meeting in Arizona, consider an event at a unique Tempe venues with views of our amazing landscape. It will surely be something that your attendees won’t soon forget!

If you want to check that saguaro sighting off your list, look no further than the Desert Botanical Garden. The garden sits on 55 acres of desert beauty right in the heart of the metropolitan area.  They have gorgeous indoor and outdoor spaces that will certainly dazzle your attendees.

Water in the desert? It’s not a mirage, it’s Tempe Town Lake.  And overlooking the lake is the Tempe Center for the Arts (TCA) sponsored by Northern Trust. TCA offers a variety of indoor and outdoor spaces, boasting lake views and state of the art design. Enjoy the upstairs patio for a casual cocktail party or the Lakeside room with the sparkling lake as your backdrop.

We know that when you think of Arizona, you think of boot-stompin’ fun! Make your event a memorable one at Rustler’s Rooste. This mountain-top, rustic Western setting is the perfect place for a group dinner or company cook-out. The food is hearty and delicious and the views will knock your boots off. And did we mention dancing, live music and rattlesnake appetizers? Yep. Rattlesnake. Check that off your bucket list.

If you’re in the mood for a more urban, yet historic venue we recommend Old Main at ASU. This building dates back to the late 1800’s when Arizona State University was called the Normal School. Your group will enjoy the beautifully restored ballroom space and the second story balcony offers views of campus and downtown Tempe.  History meets modern meets campus cool.

Perhaps your attendees are of the adventurous kind? Take them to Fort McDowell Adventures, located just on the outskirts of metro Phoenix. Not only will you get to enjoy spectacular desert scenery, but you can also head out for a trail ride, have a cook-out under the stars or even try kayaking or a desert segway tour. They also offer unique meeting space – perfect for when you need a break from the hotel ballroom.

So take your pick – desert beauty, lakeside views or urban cowboy – Tempe and the Valley of the Sun has got you covered! Contact our sales team today so we can help you plan your next meeting. We look forward to welcoming you and your group to our fun and eclectic city.
