Tempe events include the Arizona Aloha Festival at Tempe Beach Park, March 10-11, 2018 from 10 a.m.-5 p.m.  Yes, it’s time to don your favorite Hawaiian shirt or other tropical garb and head to Tempe Beach Park to experience island culture here in the Sonoran Desert. It’s a free family event that celebrates Hawaiian, Tahitian, Samoan and other South Pacific cultures through dance and musical performances, free ukulele lessons, food, kid’s crafts and lots more. Dust off your ukulele and join in the ukulele jam sessions, or just come and listen, at Aunty Aloha’s Ukulele Corner. You’ll find lots of great shopping at two marketplace areas and delicious and tempting island foods at two food courts. Purchase a raffle ticket for a chance to win a trip to Maui which includes five day trip to Maui which includes air fare.

The Arizona Aloha Festival is two days packed with fun activities and events. It’s the next best thing to taking an island vacation. And it’s free!
