Enjoy the Winter Solstice with Beth Lederman! Beth Lederman is a keyboardist and bandleader who has developed an eclectic and sophisticated sound that is based in melody and infused with joy and passion. Former bandleader for the Brazilian jazz group Novo Mundo, Beth drew on her love of latin and Brazilian music and combined it with her classical roots and the creative exploration in jazz to form her new group, Jazz Con Alma.

 This Arizona band weaves the rhythms of funk and samba with the soul of R & B and the exuberance and vitality of swing together into a smooth blend.  Featuring the warm, soulful vocals of Heather Jakeman and Steven Powell, the group also has one of the best rhythm sections in the Valley with Felix Sainz on upright and electric bass, Emerson Laffey on drums, and the amazing Joe Garcia on percussion.
