Stray Cat Theatre presents the controversial Tony Award-winning theatrical triumph, ASSASSINS, combining Sondheim’s signature blend of intelligently stunning lyrics and beautiful music with a panoramic story of our nation’s culture of celebrity and the violent means some will use to obtain it. A one-act historical “revusical” that explores the darker side of the American experience.

Bold, original, disturbing, and alarmingly funny, ASSASSINS finally gets the Stray Cat treatment as it probes the lives of the murderers and would-be murderers who assassinated or tried to assassinate the President of the United States. Generally dismissed as maniacs and misfits who have little in common with one another, and nothing in common with the rest of us, ASSASSINS suggests otherwise…
