Tempe events: The Flick at ASU Nelson Fine Arts Center

Author: Nancy

Posted on: February 13, 2018

Tempe events include The Flick, presented by the ASU School of Film, Dance and Theatre at the Nelson Fine Art Center,  February 16-25, 2018.

Written by Annie Baker and winner of the 2014 Pulitzer Prize for Drama, The Flick is set in a rundown movie palace in Worcester, Massachusetts.  The story follows three underpaid movie ushers, Avery, Sam and Rose (who also runs the film projector) who struggle with friendship, heartbreak and betrayal. The Flick is a hilarious and moving parable for our times.
