Hotels in Downtown Tempe, Arizona
Downtown Tempe is in the middle of the action along Mill Avenue, near the ASU Tempe Campus and next to Tempe Town Lake. Downtown is near sports facilities at ASU, like Mountain America Stadium, and is home to special events throughout the year including the Tempe Festival of the Arts, Innings Festival and Ironman Arizona. In Downtown Tempe, visitors will find a variety of properties, from suites to upscale retreats, that are adjacent to an endless supply of restaurants, coffee shops, retailers, the lake and the hiking trail up “A” Mountain.
Downtown Tempe is also accessible via Valley Metro Rail, with connections to PHX Sky Harbor International Airport, downtown Phoenix and downtown Mesa. The Tempe Transportation Center is at the College and Veteran’s Way stop, where you can also access buses and bike rentals from The Bicycle Cellar.
