Fall Plant Sale at Desert Botanical Garden

Bring the Garden home! The Plant Sale is back with a unique fall shopping experience. Thousands of plants will be available for all levels of gardeners. Pick your perfect sustainable landscape items — cactus, succulents or signature garden plants to add to your landscape.
This even takes place from 7 a.m. to 3 p.m. Oct. 19 to 22. Reservations open Aug. 25.
In addition to horticulture staff available on-site to help you find the perfect item, here are a few other educational opportunities taking place as part of this year’s plant sales:
Plant a Pollinator Container
Oct. 19 | 9-10 a.m., 10-11 a.m. & 11 a.m.-12 p.m.
Even in a small space, you can attract pollinators with the right native plants. Learn how to plant for pollinators with our Plant and Insect Ecology Program Manager, Natalie Melkonoff.
Plant a Herb Container
Oct. 20 | 9-10 a.m., 10-11 a.m.
Learn how to plant herbs native to the Sonoran Desert on your patio. Herb gardening expert Pam Perry will teach you how to grow herbs in containers for small spaces, which herbs grow best together, and how to select herbs to attract pollinators. Plant your own small herb container to take home.
Plant a Succulent Container
Oct 21 | 9-10 a.m., 10-11 a.m. & Oct 22 | 9-10 a.m., 10-11 a.m., 11 a.m.-12 p.m.
Succulents are relatively easy to grow, but it requires some skill to keep them growing successfully. Join experts from the Central Arizona Cactus and Succulent Society to learn how to plant native Sonoran Desert succulents in containers, which succulents to plant together and how to care for your succulents successfully.
