Tempe Improv brings some of the hottest talents from around the country and puts them center stage right here in Tempe, Arizona. Comprising of over 3,500 square feet and over 450 seats, there’s never a bad view in the house! A two-drink minimum is required for all ticket holders.
Dec. 1-3: Dusty Slay
You can take the boy out of the trailer park, but you can’t take the trailer park out of the boy… stand-up comedian Dusty Slay grew up on Lot 8 of a mobile home neighborhood in Opelika, Alabama, with a love for both classic country and rock and a career history peppered with jobs like waiting tables and selling pesticides. Now the Alabama native with the “We’re havin’ a Good Time” attitude is hitting cities all across the country playing comedy clubs and selling out theaters filled with fans eager to imitate his signature Wave.
Dec. 7-9: Joe Dombrowski
Joe Dombrowski (aka Mr. D) took the world by storm in 2017 with a viral April Fools’ Day spelling test prank that landed him multiple appearances on the Ellen Degeneres show. Joe has been doing stand-up comedy since his third grade talent show, and he’s never stopped! Since Joe’s rise to fame, he has been traveling the globe with his stand-up comedy which often highlights his crazy life as an elementary teacher. When he’s not getting creative on screens and stages, Joe produces “Social Studies,” his podcast that recaps absolutely insane stories from fans all over the world.
Dec. 14 16: Ari Shaffir: The Wrong Side of History Tour
Ari Shaffir is an American standup comedian. In addition to his numerous appearances on the Joe Rogan podcast, he is best known for his last special, “Jew,” which has garnered almost 6 million views and was written up in The NY Times in its list of best specials of the year.
Dec. 20-21: Tom Segura
Actor, comedian and writer Tom Segura is one of the biggest names in the comedy business. He recently toured over 300 cities on his “I’m Coming Everywhere World Tour.” He is best known for his Netflix specials “Ball Hog” (2020), “Disgraceful” (2018), “Mostly Stories” (2016) and “Completely Normal” (2014).
Dec. 22-23: T. Murph
T. Murph is an American comedian, actor, and writer that broke out of the Chicago comedy scene and has been quickly rising ever since. T. Murph currently stars in Hulu’s new comedy series, “Woke” alongside Lamorne Morris, Rose McIver, Blake Anderson and Sasheer Zamata.
Dec. 30-31: Pete Holmes
Pete Holmes is the creator and star of HBO’s “Crashing” (produced by Judd Apatow) and TBS’ “The Pete Holmes Show” (produced by Conan O’Brien).
