  • Hit a vacation home run each spring at a Cactus League Spring Training game. Watch the Los Angeles Angels of Anaheim play at their spring training home in Tempe at the Tempe Diablo Stadium.

The Master of Fine Arts Summer Juried Exhibition features 17 works by 12 graduate students. All current MFA candidates were eligible to apply, and the prints, photographs, ceramics, woods, fiber art and videos selected for exhibit were chosen by Robrt Pela of R. Pela Gallery. Entry to this exhibition is free. Gallery Hours 9 a.m. – 5 p.m. Monday–Thursday, 9 a.m. – 3 p.m. Friday Closed: Weekends and major holidays.

The ASU Art Museum’s seminal 1998 exhibit Contemporary Art from Cuba: Irony and Survival on the Utopian Island established one of the most extensive collections of contemporary Cuban art outside of the island. Rhythm and History — the first reconsideration of the museum’s Cuban holdings in a decade — will feature new acquisitions in dialogue with highlights from the original show, while exploring themes of history and dreams. Along the trails, guests can find several discovery stations with plants, animals and other elements of the desert at night.
